Many people will ask what type of commercial sub would a finished Maelstrom compare with? Good question, this driver is capable of producing SERIOUS amounts of bass. There are not many commercial subs at ANY price that will compare to a Maelstrom-X system with a couple passive radiators driven by a large pro-sound amplifier. It would be a system to fear, easily able to produce THX levels in the largest of rooms. Build a pair and you have absolutely stunning amounts of clean output.
